Event: The 2019 Maryland State Pyramid Poker Championship

Description:

Each player takes fifteen blocks that only they can see. They take turns stacking the blocks into a two-dimensional pyramid-shaped structure, keeping their blocks turned toward themselves. Then they take turns removing any block they want from the pyramid one by one. They’ll place these into one of three poker hands that they’re constructing. Each player’s poker hand is competing against the one opposite it that’s being built by their opponent. Once all the blocks have been removed, the player who wins at least two of the poker hands wins!

The winner of this tournament will get a trophy, a copy of the game, plus a seat at the final round of the Northeast Regional Championship at DEXCON 22 (as well as a free badge to DEXCON 22)!
