Old School D&D for Beginners!

This is an introduction to Role-Playing in general. If you’ve ever wondered what Dungeons and Dragons or RPGs in general are all about and wanted to give it a try, this is a chance to kick off your shoes, stick a toe in and test the waters. Using the free for download OSRIC system (osricrpg.com), you will get a chance to learn the basics of selecting a role and getting into character and allowing yourself to be immersed into and interact with the world that the GM creates.

This is a four-hour learn to play event suitable for all ages! This event will feature the OSRIC (Old School Reference and Index Compilation) game system, a retro clone of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game originally published in 1978 by E. Gary Gygax! Easy to play, and emphasizing rulings over rules, find out why this game is still be played by avid fans all around the world!
